Biography

Christopher Neame is an English actor born in London on 12 September 1947. He began his career in British film and television in the early 1970s with appearances in Hammer Horror productions including Lust for a Vampire (1971) and Dracula A.D. 1972 (1972). He is known for his roles as Lieutenant Dick Player in the BBC series Colditz (1972–74) and Flight Lieutenant John Curtis in Secret Army (1977).

Neame has appeared in films such as Licence to Kill (1989), Ghostbusters II (1989) and The Prestige (2006), in which he played the Defender. He has also made guest appearances in American television series including MacGyver, Star Trek: Enterprise and Babylon 5. He resides in the United States.
