Biography
Christy Stratton is an American television writer and producer. She began her career writing for sketch comedy series including The Amanda Show (1999–2000) before joining the Warner Bros. Television Writers Program, which led to a writing staff position on King of the Hill.
She wrote ten episodes of King of the Hill (2004–2009) across multiple seasons and later contributed three episodes to Modern Family (2016–2017). Other writing credits include Awkward. (2013–2014), Bless the Harts (2019–2021) and Freeridge (2023). She has also worked as a producer on several of these series and created the digital series Everyone's Crazy But Us (2015), which received Emmy and Webby nominations. Stratton, a Fort Worth native, has additionally directed and produced the short film The Runt (2024).
