Biography

Curtiss Clayton is an American film editor. He edited Gus Van Sant's Drugstore Cowboy (1989), My Own Private Idaho (1991) and To Die For (1995), as well as Vincent Gallo's Buffalo '66 (1998) and Andrew Dominik's The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford (2007). Other credits include Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers (1988), Unlawful Entry (1992), Brokedown Palace (1999) and Henry's Crime (2010).

Clayton has edited several independent features that premiered at the Sundance Film Festival. He also directed the feature film Rick (2003). He has received two wins and two nominations for his editing work, including an ACE Eddie Award nomination.
