Biography
D. Gillian Truster, also credited as Gillian Truster, is a Canadian film and television editor. She is best known for her work on the series Orphan Black (2013–2015), for which she won two consecutive Canadian Screen Awards for Best Picture Editing in a Drama Series—the first Picture Editor to achieve this for the same series. She has also received a Directors Guild of Canada Award and multiple Canadian Cinema Editors Award nominations.
Her other editing credits include the series Snowpiercer (2020), The Expanse, Anne with an E, Orphan Black: Echoes (2024) and Sight Unseen, as well as the films A Christmas Horror Story (2015), Compulsion (2013) and Seven in Heaven (2018). She has worked on numerous Canadian and international television productions since the early 2000s.
