Biography
Daisy Jazz Isobel Ridley is an English actress. She was born on 10 April 1992 in Westminster, London. She trained at the Tring Park School for the Performing Arts.
Ridley rose to prominence playing Rey in the Star Wars sequel trilogy: Star Wars: The Force Awakens (2015), Star Wars: The Last Jedi (2017) and Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker (2019). She has also appeared in Murder on the Orient Express (2017) as Miss Mary Debenham, Ophelia (2018) in the title role, Peter Rabbit (2018) voicing Cottontail, Chaos Walking (2021) as Viola Eade, and Young Woman and the Sea (2024) as Trudy Ederle.
Her great-uncle was the actor and playwright Arnold Ridley. She is married to actor Tom Bateman.
