Biography
J.J. Abrams is an American film director, producer and screenwriter, also credited as Jeffrey Jacob Abrams. Born on 27 June 1966 in New York City, he began his career as a screenwriter in the 1990s.
Abrams co-wrote the screenplay for Armageddon (1998). He created the television series Alias (2001–2006) and co-created Lost (2004–2010) and Fringe (2008–2013). His feature directorial work includes Mission: Impossible III (2006), Star Trek (2009), Super 8 (2011), Star Trek Into Darkness (2013), Star Wars: The Force Awakens (2015) and Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker (2019).
