Biography
Dakota Blue Richards (born 11 April 1994) is an English actress. She made her film debut at the age of 13 as Lyra Belacqua in The Golden Compass (2007), selected after open auditions attended by around ten thousand girls.
Richards grew up in Brighton after being born in Chelsea, London. She played Franky Fitzgerald in the E4 teen drama Skins (2011–2012) and Maria Merryweather in The Secret of Moonacre (2009). Later television roles include WPC Shirley Trewlove in Endeavour (2016–2018). Her mother is an American anthropologist.
