Biography
Dan Bucatinsky is an American actor, writer and producer. He was born in New York City on 22 September 1965 and graduated from Vassar College.
He wrote, produced and starred in the 2001 romantic comedy All Over the Guy. On television he has appeared in series including Friends (1994), Curb Your Enthusiasm (2000), Weeds (2005), Grey's Anatomy (2005) as Jeffrey and writer of one episode, The Comeback (2005–), Scandal (2012–2017) as James Novak, and The Good Doctor (2017). He won the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Guest Actor in a Drama Series in 2013 for Scandal. With Lisa Kudrow he co-founded Is or Isn't Entertainment, which produced The Comeback and Web Therapy.
Bucatinsky has also written for Lipstick Jungle and served as consulting producer on Grey's Anatomy. He is married to screenwriter and director Don Roos.
