Biography
Dan Cohen is a film and television producer. Born on 11 July 1984 in Phoenix, Arizona, he worked for close to 15 years at 21 Laps Entertainment alongside Shawn Levy and Dan Levine before becoming a partner at Barnstorm, Glen Powell’s production company.
His credits include The Boogeyman (2023) and Backrooms (2026). He has also produced Arrival (2016), Love and Monsters (2020), Free Guy (2021) and The Adam Project (2022), and served as executive producer on the series Stranger Things (2016–2025) and Shadow and Bone (2021–2023). Cohen has received four Primetime Emmy nominations for Outstanding Drama Series for his work on Stranger Things.
