Biography
Dan DeLeeuw is a visual effects supervisor and second unit director. He began working in visual effects in the 1990s on films including The Mask (1994) and Armageddon (1998).
He is known for his work as visual effects supervisor on several Marvel Cinematic Universe productions, including Iron Man 3 (2013), Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014), Captain America: Civil War (2016), Avengers: Infinity War (2018) and Avengers: Endgame (2019). He also served as second unit director on Eternals (2021) and Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania (2023).
DeLeeuw directed the episode 'Breaking Brad' of the Disney+ series Loki (2023). He received Academy Award nominations for Best Visual Effects for his work on Captain America: The Winter Soldier and Avengers: Infinity War.
