Biography
Daniel Bernhardt is a Swiss actor, stunt performer and martial artist. Born on 31 August 1965 in Ittigen, Bern, he made his acting debut in the leading role in the martial arts film Bloodsport II: The Next Kumite (1996) and appeared in its sequels Bloodsport III (1997) and Bloodsport 4: The Dark Kumite (1999).
He is known for supporting roles in action films, including Agent Johnson in The Matrix Reloaded (2003), Kirill in John Wick (2014), a District 9 male tribute in The Hunger Games: Catching Fire (2013), Bone Breaker in Logan (2017), Sionis' Chauffeur in Birds of Prey (and the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn) (2020), and Falko in Matchbox the Movie (2026). Bernhardt has also worked as a stunt performer and fight choreographer on films such as Creed II (2018) and Nobody (2021). He trained in Taekwondo and Kyokushin karate.
