Biography
Daniel Chun is a television writer and producer. He studied biological anthropology at Harvard University, where he contributed to the Harvard Lampoon.
Chun wrote for The Simpsons from 2003 to 2010, advancing to co-executive producer, and contributed to episodes including "Marge's Son Poisoning" (2005) and "Treehouse of Horror XX" (2009). He later worked on The Office (2009–2012) as head writer and co-executive producer, receiving two Primetime Emmy Award nominations. His other credits include writing for Hello Ladies (2013) and Speechless (2016–2019), and creating the series Grandfathered (2015–2016). He has also worked on Happy Endings and Kenan.
Chun received an Annie Award and a Writers Guild of America Award nomination for his work on The Simpsons. He was named one of Variety's 10 TV Scribes to Watch in 2015.
