Biography
Daniel Levins was an American actor and ballet dancer, sometimes credited as Daniel Levans. He played Arnold in the 1977 film The Turning Point.
Born on 7 October 1953 in Freeport, New York, he trained in classical ballet and became a principal dancer with American Ballet Theatre in the 1970s. He appeared as a dancer in Grease (1978) and as a dance instructor in The Goodbye Girl (1977), and guest-starred as Kyle Jeffers in an episode of The Waltons (1977).
Levins later worked as a choreographer for ballet companies and Off-Broadway productions, and taught at Eliot Feld’s Ballet Tech school for 23 years. He died on 15 September 2015 in Brooklyn, New York.
