Biography

Daniel Rezende is a Brazilian film editor and director. He edited the 2002 film City of God, for which he won the BAFTA Award for Best Editing and received an Academy Award nomination for Best Film Editing.

Rezende made his directorial debut with Bingo: The King of the Mornings (2017). He has since directed Monica and Friends: Bonds (2019), episodes of the series The Mechanism (2018), Monica and Friends: Lessons (2021) and The Son of a Thousand Men (2025).
