Biography

Danielle Feinberg is an American cinematographer and visual effects supervisor. She is Director of Photography for Lighting at Pixar Animation Studios, where she has worked since 1997.

She graduated from Harvard University with a Bachelor of Arts in computer science in 1996. Feinberg began at Pixar as a render technical director on A Bug's Life (1998) and progressed through lighting roles on films including Toy Story 2 (1999), Monsters, Inc. (2001) and Finding Nemo (2003). She served as director of photography for lighting on WALL·E (2008), Brave (2012) and Coco (2017), and as visual effects supervisor on Turning Red (2022). She was also director of photography on Loop (2020) and Elio (2025).

In 2024 she was elected to a six-year term on the Harvard Board of Overseers.
