Biography
D’Arcy Carden is an American actress and comedian. Born Darcy Beth Erokan on 4 January 1980 in Danville, California, she is best known for portraying Janet in the NBC sitcom The Good Place (2016–2020) and Natalie Greer in the HBO series Barry (2018–2023). She has also appeared as Greta Gill in the Prime Video series A League of Their Own (2022) and as Gemma in Broad City (2014–2019).
Carden performed improvisational comedy at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre in New York and holds a BFA in Theatre from Southern Oregon University. Her film credits include Bombshell (2019) and Shotgun Wedding (2022). She received a Primetime Emmy Award nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series for The Good Place and was nominated for Screen Actors Guild Awards as part of the ensemble casts of Barry.
