Biography
David J. Burke is an American screenwriter, producer and director. He was born on 8 November 1948 in Raleigh, North Carolina.
Burke wrote the teleplay for an episode of Miami Vice (1987). He contributed scripts to Crime Story (1986), Wiseguy (1987–1990), seaQuest DSV (1993–1995) and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (2000–2001), and created the series Tribeca (1993). He has also directed episodes of several television series and the feature films Edison (2005) and Animal (2005).
