Biography
Daniel Sackheim is an American television and film director and producer. He began directing in the early 1990s on series including Law & Order and went on to direct episodes of The X-Files, NYPD Blue, House and Life, serving as executive producer on the last two.
His later credits include episodes of Game of Thrones, The Walking Dead, Better Call Saul, True Detective, Ozark and Fear the Walking Dead. He directed two episodes of the 2026 series Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed. Sackheim won a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Directing for a Drama Series for an episode of NYPD Blue and has received further Emmy nominations as a producer and director.
