Biography
David L. Bushell is an American film producer and production manager. He produced Billy Bob Thornton’s Sling Blade (1996) alongside Larry Meistrich and Brandon Rosser, and was associated with the independent production company The Shooting Gallery during the 1990s.
Bushell’s subsequent credits include producing or executive producing The Minus Man (1999), The Banger Sisters (2002), Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind (2004), Get Him to the Greek (2010) and Dallas Buyers Club (2013). He has also worked as a unit production manager on several of these films.
In addition to producing, Bushell has directed the short film Jim Carrey: I Needed Color (2017) and the documentary Cheech & Chong’s Last Movie (2024).
