Biography
David Marciano is an American actor born on 7 January 1960 in Newark, New Jersey. He moved to California in 1985 and studied acting at the Drama Studio London in Berkeley while working as a bartender. His early television credits include a guest role in Wiseguy and a part in the film Lethal Weapon 2 (1989).
Marciano is known for playing Detective Raymond Vecchio in Due South (1994–1996, with a return in 1999), Detective Steve Billings in The Shield (2005–2008), and Virgil in Homeland (2011–2013). He has also appeared in episodes of House (2009), Lie to Me (2010), Sons of Anarchy (2010) and S.W.A.T. (2019–2021), among other series.
