Biography
Deena Appel is a costume designer whose film credits include Mystery, Alaska (1999) and The Time Machine (2002). She worked as costume designer on the first three Austin Powers films: Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery (1997), Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me (1999) and Austin Powers in Goldmember (2002).
Her other film work encompasses Bedazzled (2000), The Lake House (2006), Miss Congeniality 2: Armed and Fabulous (2005), Stuck on You (2003) and License to Wed (2007). Earlier in her career she served as costume supervisor on The Abyss (1989).
Appel has also designed costumes for television series including The Fosters (2013–2018) and Good Trouble (2019–2024). She received Saturn Award nominations for her work on the Austin Powers films.
