Biography
Demetrius Grosse is an American actor born on 26 February 1981 in Washington, D.C. He trained at the Carnegie Mellon University School of Drama, where he received the Andrew Carnegie Undergraduate Grant.
He is known for his roles as Rock in the 2015 film Straight Outta Compton, Emmett Yawners in the series Banshee (2013–2016), Errol in Justified (2012–2013), and Baron Samedi in Heroes (2008). Other credits include appearances in House (2004), Rampage (2018), Westworld (2016), Fear the Walking Dead (2015–2022) as Josiah and Emile LaRoux, 13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi (2016), and Lovecraft Country (2020) as Marvin Baptiste. He has also appeared in The Rookie (2018) and joined the Marvel Cinematic Universe in the series Wonder Man.
