Biography
Dick Elliott was an American character actor who appeared in more than 240 films from the 1930s until his death.
He is credited in roles including Carl Cook in Mr. Smith Goes to Washington (1939), a man on the porch in It's a Wonderful Life (1946), Kibbee in High Noon (1952), and Mayor Pike in early episodes of the television series The Andy Griffith Show (1960). He also appeared as Willie in Man of the West (1958). Elliott had earlier stage experience and featured in numerous television programmes.
