Biography
Didier Brunner is a French film producer born on 6 March 1948 in Neuilly-sur-Seine. He founded the animation production company Les Armateurs in 1994 after earlier work as an assistant director and director on educational documentaries, and co-founded Folivari in 2014 with his children.
Brunner has produced numerous animated features, including Kirikou and the Sorceress (1998), The Triplets of Belleville (2003), The Secret of Kells (2009), Ernest & Celestine (2012), Wolfwalkers (2020) and The Summit of the Gods (2021). Several of these received Oscar nominations, and he has won César Awards for best animated film.
He is a Chevalier des Arts et des Lettres.
