Biography
Dominique Thorne is an American actress. She trained at the Professional Performing Arts School in Manhattan and graduated from Cornell University with a degree in human development.
Thorne made her feature film debut as Sheila Hunt in If Beale Street Could Talk (2018). She appeared as Judy Harmon in Judas and the Black Messiah (2021) and as Riri Williams / Ironheart in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever (2022). She starred in Freaky Tales (2024) and reprised the role of Riri Williams in the Disney+ miniseries Ironheart (2025). She received the 2015 YoungArts Award in Spoken Theater and was named a U.S. Presidential Scholar in the Arts.
