Biography
Donald Douglas, also credited as Don Douglas and born Douglas William Kinleyside, was a Scottish-American actor. He appeared in more than 100 films from the late 1920s until his death, as well as on stage and radio.
His film roles include FBI Agent Harding in The More the Merrier (1943), Thomas Langford in Gilda (1946), Police Lt. Randall in Murder, My Sweet (1944), and appearances in Sergeant York (1941), Tarzan and the Amazons (1945) and Tall in the Saddle (1944). On radio he performed multiple roles and served as announcer on The Black Castle, and took the title role in John Steele, Adventurer. He died in Los Angeles on 31 December 1945, aged 40, following emergency surgery.
