Biography
Donna Dixon is an American actress and former model. Born on 20 July 1957 in Alexandria, Virginia, she began her career as a model and won the Miss Virginia USA title in 1976 and Miss District of Columbia World in 1977. She attended Groveton High School and The George Washington University.
Dixon's early television work included a regular role as Sonny Lumet in the sitcom Bosom Buddies (1980–1982), co-starring with Tom Hanks. Her film roles include Doctor Detroit (1983), Twilight Zone: The Movie (1983), Spies Like Us (1985) and The Couch Trip (1988). She appeared as Dreamwoman in Wayne's World (1992) and has taken guest parts in series such as Moonlighting (1987) and The Nanny (1995).
In 1983 she married actor Dan Aykroyd, with whom she has frequently collaborated. Her later screen work has been limited to occasional supporting roles.
