Biography
Dora Romano is an Italian actress. She was born on 30 August 1955 in Castellammare di Stabia, near Naples. She graduated in sociology in 1979 and received a diploma from the Bottega Teatrale di Firenze, the acting school directed by Vittorio Gassman, in 1980.
Romano has worked extensively in theatre and appears in films and television. Her screen credits include Baldini's Wife in Perfume: The Story of a Murderer (2006), Signora Gentile in The Hand of God (2021), Miss Oliviero in the series My Brilliant Friend (2018–2020), Mother Superior in Immaculate (2024) and Sister Romano in The First Omen (2024). She was nominated for a Nastro d'Argento for her leading role in the series Bang Bang Baby (2022).
