Biography
Doug Cockle is an American actor and voice artist. He was born Douglas Steven Cockle on 16 September 1970 in Twentynine Palms, California, and holds US and UK citizenship. He studied theatre at Virginia Tech and completed an MFA in acting at Penn State University before moving to the UK in 1999, where he is based.
Cockle is known for voicing Geralt of Rivia in The Witcher video game series. His live-action credits include Father John Maloney in the television series Band of Brothers (2001), a role in Reign of Fire (2002), and appearances in Captain America: The First Avenger (2011) and The Tailor of Panama (2001). He voiced Einar in the animated film Predator: Killer of Killers (2025) and Geralt in The Witcher: Sirens of the Deep (2025).
