Biography
Doug McGrath (born 13 April 1935) is a Canadian actor. He is best known for his role as Pete in the 1970 film Goin' Down the Road and its 2011 sequel Down the Road Again.
McGrath appeared in several other Canadian films including Wedding in White (1972), The Hard Part Begins (1973), Black Christmas (1974), Russian Roulette (1975) and Coming Out Alive (1980). He also had roles in Hollywood productions, notably alongside Clint Eastwood in The Outlaw Josey Wales (1976), The Gauntlet (1977), Bronco Billy (1980) and Pale Rider (1985), where he played Spider Conway. Other credits include Porky's (1981), Twilight Zone: The Movie (1983), Always (1989), The Rocketeer (1991) and Ghosts of Mars (2001). His brother is actor Derek McGrath.
