Biography
Dylan McDermott is an American actor, born Mark Anthony McDermott on 26 October 1961 in Waterbury, Connecticut. He studied at Fordham University and the Neighborhood Playhouse School of the Theatre.
McDermott is known for playing Bobby Donnell in the legal drama series The Practice (1997–2004), for which he received a Golden Globe Award. His film credits include In the Line of Fire (1993), Miracle on 34th Street (1994), The Perks of Being a Wallflower (2012) as Father, The Campaign (2012) and Olympus Has Fallen (2013). Television roles include appearances across multiple seasons of American Horror Story and as Richard Wheatley in Law & Order: Organized Crime.
