Biography
Ed Moore is a British cinematographer and member of the British Society of Cinematographers. He began his career in theatrical lighting before moving into film lighting and corporate production, going freelance as a director of photography in 2009. He previously worked as a camera operator on series including Red Dwarf and Doctor Who.
Moore has served as director of photography on Red Dwarf (from 2016) and episodes of Doctor Who (2020). His other credits include Vera (for which he won the 2018 Royal Television Society Award for Best Cinematography), Shetland, Britannia, This Way Up, Hijack (2023–), Silo (2023–) and the feature My Fault: London (2025).
