Eddie Griffin is an American actor and stand-up comedian. He was born on 15 July 1968 in Kansas City, Missouri.

Griffin is best known for his role as Eddie Sherman in the UPN sitcom Malcolm & Eddie (1996–2000), opposite Malcolm-Jamal Warner, and for playing the title character in the 2002 comedy film Undercover Brother. He appeared as Pope Sweet Jesus in Norbit (2007) and has featured in films including Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo (1999), John Q. (2002), Scary Movie 3 (2003) and A Star Is Born (2018).
