Biography
Edmund Donovan is an American actor. He was born on 24 August 1990 in Wellesley, Massachusetts. He graduated with a BFA in acting from Boston University's College of Fine Arts in 2012 and received an MFA from the Yale School of Drama in 2017.
Donovan's stage work includes the role of Joe in Samuel D. Hunter's Greater Clements (2019–2020), for which he received the Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Actor in a Play, the Lucille Lortel Award and the Obie Award. He was nominated for a Drama Desk Award for his performance in Hunter's Lewiston/Clarkston (2018) and appeared as Jason in the 2021 Broadway production of Lynn Nottage's Clyde's.
His screen credits include the films Akron (2015), Civil War (2024), Your Monster (2024) and Late Fame (2025) as Meyers, as well as television appearances in Orange Is the New Black (2014), The Blacklist (2019), High Fidelity (2020), Hightown (2020), Betty (2020) and Gossip Girl (2021–2023).
