Biography
Edward Atterton is an English actor. He trained at the Central School of Speech and Drama after studying social anthropology at Trinity College, Cambridge, where he was a choral scholar.
His first television role was in an episode of Agatha Christie's Poirot in 1993, followed by a recurring part in the series Medics. He appeared in British productions before moving to the United States in the late 1990s. Atterton played Lt. Andre in the 1998 film The Man in the Iron Mask and had roles in series including Three, Alias, Firefly and Charmed, as well as the miniseries Frank Herbert's Children of Dune (2003) as Duncan Idaho. His final screen appearance was in a 2005 episode of Wild Card. He later left acting to work in the family apparel business.
