Biography
Elizabeth Rodriguez is an American actress. Born on 27 December 1980 in New York City to Puerto Rican parents, she graduated from Lehman College and studied acting for two years at the William Esper Studio under Maggie Flanigan.
She began her career with small roles in films including Fresh (1994), Dead Presidents (1995) and Blow (2001), and appeared in television series such as New York Undercover, Oz and Law & Order. Later credits include Miami Vice (2006), Jack Goes Boating (2010) and Side Effects (2013).
Rodriguez is known for playing Aleida Diaz in Orange Is the New Black (2013–2019), for which the cast received Screen Actors Guild Awards in 2015 and 2016, Liza Ortiz in Fear the Walking Dead (2015), and Gabriela Lopez in Logan (2017). She received a Tony Award nomination for her performance in the 2011 Broadway play The Motherfucker with the Hat.
