Biography
Elliot Cowan is an English actor. Born in London in 1976, he graduated from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in 2001 after studying drama at the University of Birmingham.
He is known for portraying Corporal Jem Poynton in Ultimate Force, Mr Darcy in Lost in Austen (2008), Ptolemy in Alexander (2004), Lorenzo de' Medici in Da Vinci's Demons (2013–2015) and Jack Smurl in The Conjuring: Last Rites (2025). Other television credits include roles in The Crown, Foundation and Luther.
