Biography
Evan Dunsky is an American television writer, producer and director. Born in Chicago, Illinois, in 1957, he began his career in the 1980s working as an assistant director on feature films and television productions before moving into writing.
He co-created the Showtime series Nurse Jackie (2009) with Linda Wallem and Liz Brixius, writing the pilot and serving as a writer and co-executive producer across its run. Dunsky has written episodes of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation (from 2006), Two and a Half Men (2008), Rectify (2013), Banshee (2014) and Hemlock Grove (2014–2015). He wrote and directed the feature film The Alarmist (1997), adapted from Keith Reddin's play Life During Wartime. Dunsky received the 2010 Humanitas Prize and is married to Lisa Zimble.
