Biography

Eve McVeagh (born Eva Elizabeth McVeagh; 15 July 1919 – 10 December 1997) was an American actress of film, television, stage and radio. She began performing in theatre as a teenager in Los Angeles after moving there in 1923, and later appeared on Broadway and in radio series.

Her screen career began with the role of Mildred Fuller in High Noon (1952). She went on to appear in supporting and character parts in films including The Graduate (1967), Airport (1970) and King Kong (1976), as well as television series such as I Love Lucy (1951), The Twilight Zone (1959), The Incredible Hulk (1977) and Airwolf (1984). Her work across stage, screen and radio spanned 52 years.
