Biography
Féodor Atkine is a French actor born on 27 February 1948 in Paris. Of Russian-Polish descent, he spent part of his childhood in Latin America before returning to France, where he trained at the École internationale de théâtre Jacques Lecoq and with Jean-Laurent Cochet.
He began performing in theatre in the late 1960s and made his film debut in 1972. His screen credits include Love and Death (1975) as Mikhail, Pauline at the Beach (1983) as Henri, and Ronin (1998) as Mikhi. He played the recurring role of Major Pierre Ducos in the British television series Sharpe.
Atkine is also a prolific voice actor, providing the French dub for Jafar in Aladdin (1992) and for Dr. Gregory House in House, M.D.. He was awarded the Ordre des Arts et des Lettres in 2019.
