Biography
Fin Oates is a film and television editor. Early credits, under the name Fionnuala Oates, include assistant editing roles on series such as The Royals, The Innocents and SS-GB.
Oates edited the feature How to Have Sex (2023), directed by Molly Manning Walker, and Warfare (2025), directed by Alex Garland and Ray Mendoza. Television work includes episodes of I Hate Suzie, Bad Sisters (2022) and Kaos (2024). Warfare won the BIFA for Best Editing in 2025 and received a nomination for Best Editing at the Film Independent Spirit Awards.
