Biography
François-Renaud Labarthe is a French production designer. He has worked in the role since 1984 and has designed sets for more than fifty feature films as well as commercials and short films.
Labarthe has maintained a long collaboration with director Olivier Assayas, contributing production design to Clouds of Sils Maria (2014), Personal Shopper (2016), Irma Vep (2022 series) and earlier projects including Disorder (1986). Other credits include High Life (2018), The Serpent (2021) and Bonjour Tristesse (2024).
