Biography
Frank Latimore (born Franklin Latimore Kline) was an American actor. Born in Darien, Connecticut, on 28 September 1925, he began his career in summer stock theatre in the 1930s alongside Lloyd Bridges. He made his Broadway debut in the original production of Janie (1942) under the name Franklin Kline.
Latimore signed a contract with 20th Century-Fox and appeared in films including In the Meantime, Darling (1944), The Dolly Sisters (1945), Shock (1946) and The Razor's Edge (1946). He later worked in European productions and returned to American cinema with roles in Patton (1970) as Lieutenant Colonel Henry Davenport and All the President's Men (1976) as a judge. On television he played Dr. Ed Coleridge in the soap opera Ryan's Hope (1975–1976) and appeared in Guiding Light.
He married opera singer Rukmini Sukarno, daughter of Indonesian President Sukarno. Latimore died in London on 29 November 1998.
