Biography
Fred Fuchs, also credited as Fredric S. Fuchs, is a film and television producer active in the United States and Canada. He holds dual citizenship and served as president of American Zoetrope for approximately twelve years from the late 1980s.
He produced Bram Stoker's Dracula (1992) and worked on other films including The Godfather Part III (1990), The Secret Garden (1993), Mary Shelley's Frankenstein (1994), Don Juan DeMarco (1995), Jack (1996) and The Rainmaker (1997). Fuchs also produced television series such as Faerie Tale Theatre (1982–1987) and Tall Tales & Legends (1985–1986).
He later became an executive at the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation in 2006 and has been involved in international co-productions including Camelot.
