Biography
Fred Stoller is an American actor, stand-up comedian and author. Born on 19 March 1958 in Brooklyn, New York, he began performing stand-up in the early 1980s and appeared on The Young Comedians Special in 1989.
He wrote two episodes of the sitcom Seinfeld (1989) during its sixth season and guest-starred in one episode. Stoller is best known for his recurring role as Gerard on Everybody Loves Raymond (1996–2005). He has appeared in guest roles on series including Friends (1994), Bones (2005) and Modern Family (2009), and in films such as Dumb and Dumber (1994).
Stoller has also worked extensively in voice acting, including roles in the Open Season franchise, The Penguins of Madagascar and Handy Manny. He has written books including the memoir My Seinfeld Year (2012) and Maybe We'll Have You Back: The Life of a Perennial TV Guest Star (2013).
