Biography
Freddy Syborn is a British writer and director for television and film. He co-created the BBC comedy series Bad Education (2012–) with Jack Whitehall, writing multiple episodes across its run and the feature film The Bad Education Movie (2015); he later directed and executive-produced series four and five and associated specials.
Syborn created and wrote the thriller series Ragdoll (2021) for AMC and Alibi. He has written episodes of Sex Education (2019), Killing Eve (2019), Ms. Marvel (2022), All Creatures Great & Small (2020) and Wolfe (2021). He co-wrote the feature Old Boys (2018) and created the comedy-drama Bounty Hunters (2017–2019) with Whitehall. Earlier credits include writing for panel shows and the sitcom Cockroaches (2015). He has also directed shorts, including the award-winning Capital (2019), and written stage plays.
