Biography
Gail Strickland is an American actress. She was born on 18 May 1945 in Birmingham, Alabama.
She appeared in supporting roles in 1970s films including The Drowning Pool (1975), Bound for Glory (1976) as Pauline, and Norma Rae (1979). Strickland also had recurring and guest roles on television series such as MASH (as Capt. Helen Whitfield), Seinfeld (as Jocelyn Landis), Star Trek: Deep Space Nine (as Alixus), ER, Law & Order, Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman, Murder, She Wrote, JAG (as Ambassador Bartlett) and Walker, Texas Ranger. She began her career on stage, including a Broadway role in Status Quo Vadis* (1973), and retired from acting in the late 2000s.
