Biography
Gary Goldman is an American film producer, director, animator and writer. Born on 17 November 1944 in Oakland, California, he began his career in animation at Walt Disney Productions in 1972, working as an animator on several features before leaving the studio with Don Bluth and John Pomeroy in 1979 to establish Don Bluth Productions.
He produced and contributed to the story adaptation for The Secret of NIMH (1982). Goldman went on to produce and co-direct a series of animated features with Bluth, including An American Tail (1986), The Land Before Time (1988), All Dogs Go to Heaven (1989), Anastasia (1997) and Titan A.E. (2000).
