Biography
Gayle Abrams is an American television writer and producer. She wrote four episodes of the sitcom Frasier (1993) between 2000 and 2002, and served as producer and supervising producer on 48 episodes of the series. She received a Primetime Emmy nomination for Outstanding Comedy Series for her work on the show.
Abrams grew up in Encino, California, attended Birmingham High School and Kenyon College (where she majored in English), and worked at Bantam Books in New York before moving to Los Angeles to write for television. Her other writing credits include episodes of The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air (1990), Spin City (1996), Gilmore Girls (2000), 8 Simple Rules (2002), Kyle XY (2006) and 90210 (2008). She has also worked as a producer on several of these series and sold pilots to multiple networks.
