Biography
Genesis Rodriguez is an American actress. Born on 29 July 1987 in Miami, Florida, she began her career with leading roles in Telemundo telenovelas including Prisionera (2004), Dame Chocolate (2007) and Doña Bárbara (2008–2009). She later appeared as Sarah on the HBO series Entourage (2010–2011).
Rodriguez has starred in films such as Man on a Ledge (2012), What to Expect When You're Expecting (2012), The Last Stand (2013), Identity Thief (2013), Tusk (2014) and Run All Night (2015). She provided the voice of Honey Lemon in the animated film Big Hero 6 (2014) and reprised the role in the subsequent series (2017–2021). Her television credits also include The Umbrella Academy (2022) as Sloane Hargreeves and Lioness (2023–) as Captain Josephina 'Josie' Carrillo.
